just a sketch i did after poking at tega’s first auction piece and realizing i had zero grasp on anatomy
(obviously this was a better idea sure foreshortening obviously)
I commissioned Kami for a watercolor from her. I didn’t really know what I wanted, I just knew I wanted an original watercolor from her. She suggested finishing a concept sketch she’d worked on for my hubby back around Christmas. Apparently he didn’t think I’d like WingLock *laughs hysterically*
I got this in the mail today. I tried to scan it, but it didn’t turn out well (even when I tried to doctor it), so I took two pics. The first is without flash the second is with.
I just have to say: I LOVE IT!!! I freaking love it! I’m so happy about this right now you don’t even know! Now I just have to find the perfect frame.

if it’s any consolation, my scanner didn’t like it either. there’s something in the pigments making up some watercolours that just don’t scan.
