Hey all, we’ve received quite a few orders now, we’re very excited for another tea order!

WE WILL BE ORDERING AT THE END OF NEXT WEEK.

DEADLINE TO ORDER WILL BE FEBRUARY 13TH.

The tea can be picked up at our meet-up on February 23rd, details soon!

“Adventures with Sherlock Holmes” exhibition at the Toronto Reference Library

January 5-March 10, 2013 

125 years after Sherlock Holmes first appeared in print, he is still going strong as the subject of books, movies, television shows and more. The exhibition “Adventures with Sherlock Holmes” will take visitors on their own journey into the mysterious world of the Great Detective, uncovering fascinating details about this truly enduring literary character. Rare and unusual books, manuscripts, artwork and more will be on view from the holdings of the Toronto Public Library’s Arthur Conan Doyle Collection.

Sherlock Holmes meets Jack the Ripper in “Murder by Decree,” a 1978 film starring Christopher Plummer as Holmes. A tour of the exhibition will follow the screening.

1 p.m. Beeton Auditorium
Doug Wrigglesworth, Chair Emeritus of the Friends of the Arthur Conan Doyle Collection, will discuss the life, times and far-reaching influence of Sherlock Holmes’s creator Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. A tour of the exhibition will follow the lecture.
